Primo West Electric is a licensed FSR electrical contractor based at 20362 72B Ave, Langley Twp, BC V2Y 5K4. This page describes what we collect through the quote form on this site, how we use it, and how you can control your information.
1. Information we collect
The quote form on this website collects the following information directly from you:
- Your name
- Your phone number and/or email address (whichever you provide)
- The service you are asking about (from the dropdown)
- Any project details you type in the message field
- Your preferred method of contact (Phone, Email, or Text)
We do not use analytics that link an individual visitor to any of the above beyond what your browser sends with any web request (IP address, browser type, and referring page for the purpose of server logs).
2. How we use it
The information you send through the quote form is used only to:
- Reply to your quote request by phone, email, or text (whichever you asked for)
- Schedule a site visit or work appointment, if the project moves forward
- Follow up on the work after it is complete (warranty, review request, invoice)
- Coordinate permits and inspection paperwork with Technical Safety BC and BC Hydro when the work requires it
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for marketing outside our own follow-up on your project.
3. Text messages (SMS)
When you submit the quote form with your phone number, you consent to receiving text messages and phone calls from Primo West Electric at that number, including messages sent by automated means, for the purposes above (quoting, scheduling, follow-up). Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with the project — you can expect a small number of messages during quoting and scheduling, and occasional follow-up after the work is complete.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How to opt out
You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact us directly using the information at the bottom of this page.
Opting out of SMS does not remove your record from our quote system — we still keep the details of your request so we can respond by phone or email if you asked us to. To be removed entirely, see the next section.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep quote-request records for as long as the project is active, and after that for as long as we may reasonably need them for warranty, invoicing, tax, or inspection-record purposes — typically seven years, per Canadian business record-keeping norms.
You can ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing [email protected] or calling (236) 243-9407. We will confirm deletion in writing.
6. Data security
Information you submit through the quote form is transmitted to us over HTTPS. Once received, access is limited to Primo West Electric and to the third-party service providers we rely on to run the business (for example, our CRM, email host, and phone/SMS provider). Those providers are reputable vendors with their own security controls, and we only share the information required for them to perform the service.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction — for example, access-controlled accounts, unique credentials, and encrypted transit and storage where our providers offer it.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Standard web-server logs (recording IP, browser, and pages viewed) are retained for a short period for security and reliability purposes.
8. Children
This site is intended for property owners and business decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. The current effective date is September 2, 2026.
